This added segment addresses the strongest critical comment we’ve received on the documentary: we failed to mention the infrared readings of “water” in the Deep Impact ejecta. As usually happens on matters of good criticism, it proved to be invaluable, leading directly to a new emphasis on explosive electrochemistry of water production from silicates.
