Comparative Mythology Comes of Age
With the release of our new DVD,
Symbols of an Alien Sky, it's time for
comparative mythology to come out of the shadows and take it's rightful
place among the sciences.
It cannot be stressed enough that Symbols is a groundbreaking documentary
of epic proportions. Never before has so much radical information been
presented in one integral package. This DVD, along with its two sequels,
promises to rewrite entire fields of "knowledge" we learned in
school, from history, archaeology, and anthropology, to mythology and religion.
But there is much more to consider. As Dave Smith wrote in his recent
Thunderblog:
If you are in any way troubled by the state of the theoretical sciences
today, here is something well worth thinking about. Nothing could reanimate
these sciences more than the convergence of the Electric Universe theory
with this reconstruction of ancient history. The described events are
simply inconceivable - unless we live in an Electric
Universe.
When the Saturn Theory converged with Electric Universe theory in 1997, this meeting
of the minds lit a fire in two independent camps. Comparative mythology found a
stunning counterpart in the discoveries of plasma cosmology and the investigation of
the electric universe.
But don't just take our word for it. Please give consideration to what others — both the
principal contributors to the Thunderbolts Project and
independent viewers — say about this DVD.
And please do not underestimate the value of your own contribution in purchasing the
DVD and sharing it with others. Let this be your piece of history, your personal voice in a
world-altering shift in human understanding.
Acknowledgements:
Whilst David Talbott has written and presented Symbols of an Alien Sky, and the
reconstruction presented therein is his own interpretation of the evidence, there are a
number of people without whose help, assistance, encouragement and research neither
the fullness of the evidence presented, nor the production itself would have been
possible.
First and foremost, for nearly three decades Talbott’s closest collaborator has been Ev
Cochrane, author of Martian Metamorphoses: The Planet Mars in Ancient Myth and
Religion, The Many Faces of Venus: The Planet Venus in Ancient Myth and Religion
and Starf*cker: The Catastrophic Conjunction of Venus and Mars. Cochrane’s
independent, scrupulous examination of the ancient cultures has confirmed numerous
aspects of the reconstruction including extraordinary evidence and special citations
unknown to others.
Additionally, the production benefited from many images and several citations provided
by linguist Rens van der Sluijs, whose independent investigation into plasma
formations in the ancient sky complements the planetary model presented in Symbols,
though he himself has reserved judgment as to the role of planets in the celestial
events.
Many years ago Dwardu Cardona made the principle of a polar Saturn the centerpiece
of his own life's work. He went beyond the myths and symbols to explore the geological
implications of Saturn’s claimed role in solar system history. Whilst much of his work
remains separate from Talbott’s reconstruction in Symbols, it accords very well with
fundamentals of the physical theory offered by Electric Universe proponent Wallace
Thornhill.
Of course, it is Thornhill’s groundbreaking work, together with invaluable contributions
from Don Scott, that has made possible the convergence of the historical
reconstruction with the Electric Universe hypothesis.
