In bold are four of them, none of which they can prove are real, even after half a century of expensive effort. They all depend on faith ... and the existence of each other. Now if you ask me, this is nothing more than magical thinking. For all the good the model does in explaining anything, it might as well contain a fifth gnome … fairies, who *I believe* actually created the DM. They need something to create it. And maybe the existence of fairies would finally mean there will a tangible benefit to taxpayers from discovering DM and its origin. You see, fairies might have a use, unlike DM.Researchers from the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) have proposed a new model to explain the origin of dark matter. Furthermore, I think it’s laughable that they claim that their model "successfully" produces DM, when they still can’t tell us with any confidence what DM is, even after 40 years of expensive searching. Indeed, there are probably an additional 20 gnomes for DM itself ... all with different characteristics, origins, etc. Like I said, modern astrophysics is nothing but gnomes.
In fact, maybe their model also successfully produces unicorns … they’ve just overlooked that *fact* for the past 40 years, as well. But maybe 40 years from now, when they need unicorns to continue scamming taxpayers, they'll suddenly add them to their house of gnomes. See the way it works?
Finally, note the last sentence of the article …
That's called job security and it's the most critical feature of their universe. It's been *designed (frozen) in*. Just saying ...“The study authors are required to validate their WIFI model through observations which could take many years.”
