An astrophysicist in Australia has demonstrated conclusively that magnetic reconnection is a real physical phenomenon after all. :)

I can just imagine the look on his face when it *finally* became obvious that this wasn't a good idea, and he now required medical help to get him out his predicament.

It just goes to show you that while astrophysicists may be intelligent, they're still fully capable of doing incredibly stupid things. :)
