Free Ancient History Book

This version of my ancient history book is probably the best I'll ever be able to do with it in this life. It includes a few new items as well as better formatting and explanations of a couple of old items.

There is a question of whether climate optima and 'golden ages' occurred together in pairs and whether the Eemian optimum occurred along with a deep prehistoric golden age and whether that was what those first humans to transfer to Earth splashed down into. I don't have much of a picture of those first humans splashing into a primordial cold and dark Purple Dawn age and surviving.

There is also the question of Earth participating in more than one axial alignment. I believe that Earth went almost immediately from an antediluvian Saturn/Neptune/Mars/Earth alignment to a postdiluvian Jupiter/Venus/Mars/Earth alignment and the potential for confusion in that picture for anybody trying to make sense of such evidence is substantial.

In particular I view the idea of Venus ever having been part of that antediluvian Saturnian alignment as flatly impossible. That is, I do not see a way that Venus could have arisen with Saturn and then ended up having the exact same axis tilt as Jupiter to within less than half a degree. Those axis tilts do not seem to change much with time; Earth has experienced as much catastrophe-related grief as Venus has and still retains the roughly 26-degree axis tilt that characterizes the bodies of the former Saturnian group.

That basically says that people arguing the merits of Velikovsky's theory in the sixties and seventies needed to be talking about axis tilts and not thermal balance or surface temperatures.
