Beyond the boundaries of established science an avalanche of exotic ideas compete for our attention. Experts tell us that these ideas should not be permitted to take up the time of working scientists, and for the most part they are surely correct. But what about the gems in the rubble pile? By what ground-rules might we bring extraordinary new possibilities to light?

My CMB explanation.
Magnetrons are inherently 'noisy' in EM wavelengths, up to at least 40 GHz. The CMB is the constant hum of a sky full of magnetrons.
Professor Kanarev agrees with my idea that hydrogen production is an ongoing event in all stars, though I could not say if his theory supports my idea as to the source of the hot electron/proton pair. I'd be interested to hear from anyone more qualified in such matters.

'The process of rapprochement of the electron with the proton takes place when they pass together from a medium with high temperature to a medium with lower temperature, better to say, when they move off from the star. Rapprochement of the electron with the proton takes place step-by-step. A number of the steps being omitted during this passage depends on a temperature gradient of the medium where the hydrogen atom, which has come into being, moves. The larger the temperature gradient, the more steps can be omitted by the electron when it draws together with the proton.'

The simple explanation for CMB as well as cosmic rays is that they come from processes related to what is now still called "anti-matter".

Dalgarno has written this up, here are some references:

The heliosphere is a bubble of hot gas in interstellar space stretching from the Sun to greater than 100 Sun-Earth distances. It contains some fraction of inflowing neutral interstellar hydrogen and helium atoms. Highly charged positive ions emanate from the Sun in the solar wind and impact the neutral material. The ions capture electrons from the atoms into high excited states that radiate primarily in the soft X-ray spectral region. The spectra provide information about the solar wind composition and velocity and the distribution of atoms in the heliosphere. The X-rays generated by the solar wind contribute to the diffuse soft X-ray background. Similar processes occur in the interaction of the solar wind ions with comets and with the extended exospheres of the planets. We are engaged in theoretical efforts to predict the spectra resulting from the collisions of the solar wind ions (recent references).
As far as I am concerned, this destroys the ability to claim the CMB as absolute, unquestioned "evidence" of the big bang. They can claim it as a "possibility," but they simply must admit of other far more likely possibilities.

The Big Bang is more like a continuous recycling process. The cores of older galaxies (basically where the astronomers assume all these Black Holes) are being redistributed as interstellar matter (protons) and background radiation. Supernova's do the same thing.

Now you just have to change "solar wind" with "magnetic ropes of charged particles", as they like to call them, and there you have it! Wasn`t that hard, was it?
