Star mimics Galaxy's Spiral Arms

From: "Spiral Dance in a Planetary Nursery" courtesy of Sabaru Telescope They call it a "protoplanetary disc" as the star AB Aurigae seems to display the outline of it's own "ballerina skirt" also known as the heliospheric current sheet. The orders of magnitude scalability of electro-plasma dynamics remain remarkably consistent to a degree the "standard model" can only dream of.

Enjoy.

Direct link to an .mpg 3D model of our Sun's heliospheric current sheet (HCS):
The Heliospheric Current Sheet

Plus, the Geophysical Institute's Interplanetary Magnetic Field:
"Ecliptic Plane IMF Forecasts".

Quicktime and Java required respectively. To see the the Geo Institute's IMF running plot click the start button below the photo. It may take a couple of times to get it running. Our Sun and AB Aurigae appear to be doing the same "spiral dance".

Wow! Very very interesting links. Really every star in every galaxy with its rotating plasma sheets is in smaller scale the same of the galaxy that contains it.
Another goal for EU.
Who knows if this can also be worth for the of galaxy clusters, clusters of clusters and so on. As a brilliant fractal where every form is recursive to the endless one.
