Unzicker and Robitaille argue the sun is not a plasma, but liquid metallic H.

I think their argument is that hydrogen takes a liquid metallic form under extremely high pressures. They are trying to argue that once hydrogen is in metallic state, it remains that way under low pressures and high temperatures at the surface without an atmosphere to compress it. I think it is plausible that hydrogen can turn into liquid metallic at depths of several thousand kilometers deep. I disagree that hydrogen can remain in liquid metallic state under the low pressures and high temperatures of the apparent surface unless there are several thousand kilometers of atmosphere to compress it.

Metallic Hydrogen is hypothesized to comprise the core of Jupiter, in an attempt to explain the complex magnetic fields of that planet. Yet Jupiter does not radiate in the visible light spectrum.

If there is liquid metallic hydrogen in the Solar System, is it found elsewhere in this model?

Why would liquid metallic hydrogen radiate visible light, and even UV, EUV, X- and gamma rays?

Because it is hot? Hot steel radiates light such that the temperature can be determined by the "color temperature", ergo "red hot" and "white hot" steel.

Thank you. The sun is also the source of powerful magnetic fields and a constant stream of positively charged particles, which in turn accelerate past the inner planets at ever increasing velocities.

The magnetic fields and the accelerating protons are very important in the Electric Sun model. It is an electric current that supplies both the regular changes in the magnetic field in the solar cycle, as well as the electric field surrounding the sun.

This electric field is the reason the solar protons continue to increase in velocity as they get further away from the sun.
