AI and The Electric Universe

Has science taken a wrong turn? If so, what corrections are needed? Chronicles of scientific misbehavior. The role of heretic-pioneers and forbidden questions in the sciences. Is peer review working? The perverse "consensus of leading scientists." Good public relations versus good science.

AI and The Electric Universe

Unread post by kf4dao » Mon Oct 07, 2024 9:39 pm

I have been experimenting with several AI Large language Models, and initiating "conversations" with a few of them regarding the Electric Universe. I wonder if anyone has considered creating a LLM with the knowledge base of what the EU has published and collected, as the "standard" scientific information is really all that I can find, and none of the models support the EU model. However, the Llama3 LLM I have been working with, when I present documentation, has been by far the best one so far at at least considering the model and discussing it rationally. I am just learning about AI models, and so my personal knowledge is frighteningly inadequate, but I think having a LLM to discuss these ideas with could be beneficial, along with being a remarkable storehouse of the information.

I would be happy to consider undertaking the task, once I learn how to "teach" or "train" a LLM... possibly building upon one already in existence, a couple of which I really like, such as Llama3.

If this has already been discussed, please forgive the duplication of the idea... I did not see it on an initial search. Thanks so much!

I'd be curious to see what the Grok AI has to say.

Grok is turning out to be quite well-informed about the Electric Universe Model. I'm having tons of fun with it.

I just found this video myself. It's so good. I think I'm going to do a show about it and another like it.

The AI frontier is moving very fast and various companies are all trying to outdo one another. Plasma Cosmology is probably already included in their training material. However it is possible to setup one's own hardware to do specialised training. But it requires powerful GPU's with at least 128 GB of video memory (most gaming systems have at most 20) as well as system memory of at least 128 Gb (most home systems have 8 or 16).

Better would be to setup a specialised agent. I already found one by searching for "electric universe' in OpenAI's "GPT's" tab in their app. The other Ai's have similar ways of customising the chat.

How is this two AI's ?
Exploration and discovery without honest investigation of "extraordinary" results leads to a Double Bind (Bateson, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_bind ) that creates loss of hope and depression. No more Double Binds !
