Were some v2.0 posts and threads lost, missing or deleted ?
Searching for things I know I posted in 2.0 does not turn up hide nor hair of posts I am sure I entered. Was there a CME or gravity wave impact or an internet time warp that deleted some things?

One or all of those things may have happened, however, I don't think that it affected the content of Forum V2.0. Afaik, v2.0 was archived when it was closed down and it has remained unchanged.Searching for things I know I posted in 2.0 does not turn up hide nor hair of posts I am sure I entered. Thank you. I think some entire threads are missing.

Maol,
Assuming that you still know your password for v2.0, you can sign in and go to your profile page and click the link, "Search user's posts", which will take you to a list of all of your posts.
You can then go through and see everything that you have ever posted on that forum.

I finally found it. I think several threads were combined and it was lost in the stew. Several searches with words that should have returned the posts were unsuccessful. Finally "piezoelectric" did the trick. I thought (still think) a whole thread about the Fukushima earthquake is AWOL. I tried searching many words in my posts and the total forum that would return the discussions about the coincidence of a CME impact and the effect on Earth's magnetic field and the occurrence of the quake and possible piezoelectric effect being a quake trigger. Finally just now found it buried in a combined thread about earthquakes in general. I know I started a thread about a CME arriving at the time of the quake. The posts are there but embedded in a combined thread with 29 pages.
