Yippee! Hallelujah! Now we can spend another 20 billion trying to turn that "hint" into a “could be”.Astrophysicist's research could provide a hint in the search for dark matter
Theories abound, and research by Clemson University postdoctoral fellow Alex McDaniel provides some of the most stringent constraints on the nature of dark matter yet. His research also reveals a small hint of a signal that if real, could be confirmed sometime in the next decade or so.
And note this admission in the article …
So the real story here is that the research shows the likelihood of DM is growing smaller because there are fewer and fewer places it could be hiding. Hence the need for alternate dimensions, unparticles and “hints” to keep this swindle alive long enough to for this researcher to profit from his *education*, if you can call it that."In this paper, we do more ruling out, saying that dark matter can't have those masses or cross section," said Chris Karwin, a former postdoc at Clemson and a co-author of the study.
What are we, folks? A bunch of fools?
We keep throwing money at this nonsense, so apparently so.
But that foolishness is now impacting almost every aspect of our society.
It's coming apart at the seams, but here we are searching for something next to useless even if they do find it.
But hey … I sure hope they do. I'm dying to see it!
