Request for Reddit Help

Many Internet forums have carried discussion of the Electric Universe hypothesis. Much of that discussion has added more confusion than clarity, due to common misunderstandings of the electrical principles. Here we invite participants to discuss their experiences and to summarise questions that have yet to be answered.

Request for Reddit Help

Unread post by orrery » Mon Mar 02, 2020 1:31 am

Hello Thunderbolts Members,

I am currently seeking assistance in moderating the following subreddits at reddit.com as well as those who will just contribute content and cross-post with TB content. Many I am holding as private until we have some decent and trustworthy moderators.

r/Jupiter - Launching this subreddit for friends of the Thunder God, Thunderbolts friendly (potentially large viewer base)
r/PlasmaAstrophysics - Dedicated to Alfven / Peratt,Thunderbolts friendly
r/PlasmaCosmology - Dedicated to Alfven / Peratt, Thunderbolts friendly
r/ElectricUniverse - Dedicated to the EU Thunderbolts team
r/Thunderbolts - Dedicated to the EU Thunderbolts team
r/ElectricCosmology - Redundant with the ElectricUniverse & Thunderbolts subs.
r/Galaxy - Dedicated to the Arp Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies, Thunderbolts friendly (potentially large reader base)
r/TalkOrigins - Now launching this subreddit for discussions on the origin of life, Thunderbolts friendly
r/Electrodynamics - Launch TBA - will be Thunderbolts friendly
r/StarStuff - Launch TBA - I believe this could be a good sub for space fluff & Thunderbolts friendly (potentially large viewer base)
r/PlasmaRedshift - Launch TBA - dedicated to Ari Byrnjolfsson
r/AstrophysicalJournal - Launch TBA (potentially large reader base)
r/plasmaPorn - Launch TBA (potentially large viewer base)
r/Spectroscopy - Launch TBA (potentially large viewer base)

Those are the ones I feel would appeal to Thunderbolts members but others that may draw your interest are:

r/AquaticApe
r/Electrodynamics
r/NationalSpaceSociety
r/SpaceSettlement
r/ExpandingEarth
r/ylem
r/SubSpecieAeternitatis
r/FiatLux
r/Infidels
r/fnords
r/EvilAtheistConspiracy

I would like to see these others developed as well and would not be opposed to handing them over to someone else. Currently, I allow fans of the DarkMatter and Ancient Aliens TV shows, and have even completely handed off subreddits like /r/creation.

There is also:
http://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricUniverse

Some people are already filling it with posts about very alternative theories.

The number of active supporters is pretty low on reddit, though.
I also get downvotes on posts that criticize the mainstream.
Wouldn't it be easier just to concentrate on a few subreddits?

I divided them into how mainstream they are:
/r/PlasmaCosmology - close to mainstream, critical on big bang and dark stuff.
/r/Thunderbolts - related to the Youtube channel.
/r/ElectricUniverse - everything goes.

There may some censorship coming on reddit, due to extreme politics.
So as a backup, I there is also:
http://www.saidit.net/r/plasmacosmology/

I think it's a good idea to cast a wide net and criss cross and network between them.

I agree.

Too many popular science subreddits are currently hostile towards EU/PC and critiques of mainstream cosmology/theoretical physics. The more the better. ;)
"Considering there is no reactive force even considered in the interaction between mass and space in General Relativity's space-curvature field equations, even though both can likewise act on one another, it is therefore in direct violation of Newton's 3rd Law of Motion."
