Ions electrons and particles

Unread post by beekeeper » Thu Dec 24, 2020 6:15 pm

Greeting EU Pilgrims, I am going fishing here, seeing that the sun emits the above mentioned masses I am wondering, if we view the sun as a plasma sphere, these masses of emissions often cross path with the earth. If these particles were to attach themselves to the earth whether in the plasma core or mantels, wouldn't they cause the earth to expand proportionally to the material received? In this perspective we would be living on a growing habitat. It would also fall in line with the expanding tectonic plates if I may advance. If someone has posted something similar please excuse my interruption regards Beekeeper

The mass flux is just too low, you'd need trillions of years for any significant mass increase.
Furthermore, even the Earth's magnetosphere is mostly populated by ions from Earth itself, and not the solar wind.
