This just out from the University of Denver …
https://www.du.edu/node/61048
Using Mathematical Modeling Of Galaxies To Disprove The Existence Of Dark Matter. The purpose of this research is exploring an alternative model to disprove the need for dark matter in current cosmological models of galaxy rotation curves. … snip … The results produced from this model have been extremely promising so far, and have effectively explained the problem seen in galaxy rotational curve observations.
Looks like there might be a few DM doubters at the school. I've no more details than that, however.
I do wish this student luck with his work.

Dr. Cisneros is replacing Dark Matter with Dark Energy. Whatever, it is still "dark".
True, but at least there's some infighting amongst the gn ... er ... mainstream proponents.

Yes, they know that 'something is rotten in the state of Denmark', and they are scrambling for a fix.

Here’s a different model, based purely on Newtonian gravity:

Basically, it’s about ejecting stars from a slowly rotating center nucleus in pairs. That leaves them in slow elliptic orbits and the complete shape of the galaxy would match what we can observe in visible light.

The idea that jets are created by in-falling matter maybe one theory. This theory will not be able to create a stable jet that will last for hundreds and thousands of light years. Not only that, to expel stars along a stable jet eg M87. And be part of a dipolar electromagnetic vector field jet.
Another Theory
A core with extreme compaction over 10^25
Chiral Supersymmetry.
Creating a dipolar electromagnetic fields that expel matter
The core attraction fields creating an Event Horizon
It’s all electrical
Sounds like a cyclic theory
