Scientific American and New Scientist are celebrating Vera Rubin …
https://www.scientificamerican.com/arti ... live-life/ “Astronomer Vera Rubin Taught Me about Dark Matter—and about How to Live Life”
https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg ... ht-sexism/ “How astronomer Vera Rubin shone light on dark matter and fought sexism”
I clearly risk being called sexist if I suggest that Rubin and the authors of these article probably never read anything about plasma physics, electromagnetic physics, a Nobel Prize winner named Hannes Alfven or a man named Anthony Peratt and their work.
Just saying ...

The really scummy part is that the mainstream is using sex to sell dark matter to an unsuspecting group of young women and pretending to take the moral high ground in that process. It's just shitty.
They could have led with her groundbreaking work on *measuring* galaxy rotation speeds, or something unrelated to their metaphysical crap, but of course not. They led with bullshit about a mythical substance that doesn't even exist in the first place and which cannot be falsified by any means known to science.

I predict that one day Vera Rubin will be considered a laughing stock for having bought into dark matter.

There's still something we could do. Women for Electrical Effects in Galactic Rotation!

Two electrical effects in galaxies which dark matter cannot explain are their organized magnetic fields and the counter rotation discovered in some galaxies.

I have always thought if they looked they would find a lot more counter rotation in galaxies. But we will see.

- "It has been one of the greatest surprises of the Space Age – powerful magnetic fields pervade the cosmos. Mainstream astronomers and astrophysicists do indeed acknowledge pervasive cosmic magnetism, but they did NOT predict it, and the realization has come begrudgingly.
Here we explore why powerful cosmic-scale magnetic fields associated with countless celestial objects is the clearest indication that we live in an Electric Universe."

- "A team of scientists using the ALMA telescope to study the doughnut-shaped cloud of gas and dust at the center of the galaxy NGC 1068 recently made a shocking discovery — two separate disks of gas and dust are rotating in opposite directions. Phys.org reports on the team’s discovery: “Unexpectedly, they found two counter-rotating disks of gas. The inner disk spans 2-4 light-years and follows the rotation of the galaxy, whereas the outer disk (also known as the torus) spans 4-22 light-years and is rotating the opposite way.”
Those who have followed this series might understand the potential significance of this discovery. In 2015, retired professor of electrical engineering Dr. Donald Scott published his mathematical model of the structure of a Birkeland current, which can be identified visually as counterrotating cylindrical shells, and is seen at vastly different scales in the cosmos, from galaxies to planetary aurorae. We asked Dr. Scott for this thoughts on this new discovery."
