How did Supermassive Black Holes Form? Collapsing Dark Matter Halos can Explain Them

We don’t quite understand how the first supermassive black holes formed so quickly in the young universe.
Oh ... so they don't "quite" understand. LOL! Do these idiots ever listen to themselves?
So a team of physicists are proposing a radical idea. Instead of forming black holes through the usual death-of-a-massive-start route, instead giant dark matter halos directly collapsed, forming the seeds of the first great black holes.

Supermassive black holes (SMBHs) appear early in the history of the universe, as little as a few hundred million years after the big bang. That rapid appearance poses a challenge to conventional models of SMBH birth and growth, because it doesn’t look like there can be enough time for them to grow so massive so quickly.
There’s another explanation other than this gnome. But mainstream astrophysics and their sycophants in the media don’t want to hear about it … and they want to keep the public in the dark about it. Otherwise all those lucrative jobs they have chasing gnomes might dry up and they might actually have to work for a living.
