Promote Online 3D Museum Etc Exhibits

Beyond the boundaries of established science an avalanche of exotic ideas compete for our attention. Experts tell us that these ideas should not be permitted to take up the time of working scientists, and for the most part they are surely correct. But what about the gems in the rubble pile? By what ground-rules might we bring extraordinary new possibilities to light? If you have a personal favorite theory, that is in someway related to the Electric Universe, this is where it can be posted.

Promote Online 3D Museum Etc Exhibits

Are there people doing that already?

Whether yes or no, I think we need to support the idea. Do you agree?

I was listening to two older guys talking in the library this morning. One said he went to a museum in Cairo, Egypt that displayed artifacts from the Giza plateau where the famous pyramids are located. He said he spent all day in the museum.

So I thought how hard could it be to take pictures of all of the artifacts in any museum and upload them to a website so many more people would have access to viewing them? The staff at the museums could do it easily.

I see the Cairo museum does have some exhibit photos online at https://www.thenotsoinnocentsabroad.com ... m-in-cairo .

Other museums are doing similar things, e.g. https://naturalhistory.si.edu/visit/virtual-tour and https://museumvirtualtour.org/ and http://museumvirtualtour.com/ and https://britishmuseum.withgoogle.com/

I guess the ones here let you get a "street view" of exhibits, similar to using Google maps: https://artsandculture.google.com/searc ... al-history

Just because some museums are posting pics of some exhibits online doesn't mean they're posting everything and it doesn't mean enough museums are doing it.

What types of exhibits should we want to see posted online?

Here are some of what I'd like to see.

Petroglyphs & Pictographs & Rock Art and their Locations. The images should be organized according to Context (showing what other images are at the same location) and Type. Now that's going to take a lot of work.

Rock Formations worldwide and their Contexts as well as detailed analysis of Contents.

Archeological Artifacts & Objects & Inscriptions & Other Symbols at all Locations worldwide.

Worldwide Myths in Chronological Order.

Fossils & their Contexts, as well as Types.
