Re: vortices in aether

Interestingly there are experiments that demonstrate a rotational (vortex) dynamic to magnetism, suggesting in a permanent magnet an inner and outer vortex at the pole end of opposite direction.

1.) A magnet slowly dipped in a ferrofluid (+ water) solution will cause the fluid to centrifugally disperse, upon further dipping a centripetal vortex will shoot upwards towards the pole center. :geek:
2.) A powerful magnet approaching a CRT screen will display a clockwise outer vortex on the screen, and inside it a counter-clockwise vortex (both dependent on the pole). :o
3.) A (precision) gyroscope will spin a lot longer (a few, even ten times longer) if spun in an opposite direction on the center of the north/south pole of a powerful magnet. If the gyroscope is lift up, and hovered over the edge it will stop spinning. :ugeek:

What if magnetism is the Ether's motion?

YouTuber "TheoriaApophasis" Ken Wheeler has demonstrated this in some videos, but anybody can do all these themselves.

One way to test the boundaries of any vortex that defines our orbit would be to look at where meteorites begin to heat/burn as they approach, the inherent difference of the 'earths' vortice in motion and the general background vortice of the solar system should force a more or less consistant difference in how much kinetic energy is transformed to heat within and without the vortice, assuming that the meteorite is in equilibrium with the background vortice.

Accepting that we have waves passing through 'space' without a medium makes little sense. The speed of the waves in the medium imply incredibly density, if the medium is solid how to explain all the motion? if, as it appears the medium is liquid we're then looking at even more oom of density. So it makes sense to at least consider that we may be inside a black hole, and that the medium is the unified mass of particles with all their energy set free. What if the particles were the voids between the galaxies? and the galaxies are the result of the friction tearing apart those particles due to their different rotational inertia where they met. Thus the vortices generated by these forces align the particulate ground debris of the medium according to their spin and charge, some concentrated by centripetal force others expelled by centrifugal force, and balance achieved by the re-cycling of these oppositely charged/spinning particles into and out of the poles and the rotational equator in opposite directions. These large vortices then being spun out of the central vortice and taking on the life of stars, such that we observe the stars and think that they are the action but they themselves are puny reactions in the vortice which created them. So spun out from the center all the vortices move at the same speed, all move more or less directly away from the galactic core as the core spins away.
It follows that when star systems collide there will be extreme reactions between their governing vortices and extreme kinetic events as the stars and planets encounter tori of the medium rotating at vastly different rates, or even oppositely or orthogonal to their 'normal' environs.
As far as detecting the vortices in the medium/aether it seems that Earth would be at a quiescent place in the vortice matrix, thus it's presence/motion should increase as you gain altitude/move away, plus charge/particles captured by it would have preferred paths, and the vortice of each planet would be in a constant dynamic with that focussed by the sun and each of the other planets. Maybe making these vortices the home of the charge field.
Of course being within a black hole would exclude the possibility of any forming within it, and the balance of power between electric and attractive forces would be very different in the outer universe.
