On the IEEE Xplore account, unless you have a paid membership, articles still are not free; only joining up as a Guest is free. Please correct me if this is wrong!

If you have a good local University then you might be able to sign in as a local researcher and download IEEE papers for free. Just don't abuse anything like that system by uploading them all over the net !jjohnson wrote:On the IEEE Xplore account, unless you have a paid membership, articles still are not free; only joining up as a Guest is free. Exploration and discovery without honest investigation of "extraordinary" results leads to a Double Bind (Bateson, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_bind ) that creates loss of hope and depression. No more Double Binds !

Just in case nobody's seen it. This is very cool...
(iNTEGRATED SPACE WEATHER ANALYSIS SYSTEM)
http://iswa.ccmc.gsfc.nasa.gov/iswa/iSWA.html
Apparently a web-based interactive system for getting all sorts of space weather data... Pretty danged cool. So, if anyone happens to like tracking the solar wind / space weather, this might be a good tool for you.
Best,

Ahem, it looks like a double helix! Where have I heard that before?
I sense a disturbance in the farce.

Can you point me to good, high resolution images of rock art associated with plasma discharges in the past?

These aren't high res but are a good start.franklinbgrey wrote:Can you point me to good, high resolution images of rock art associated with plasma discharges in the past?

The detail of the rock art is not that great, so low res is pretty good. When i started my travels in the SW i photographed all the rock art [high res] i could find. No one seemed to care about my images, and the symbols all looked quite similar. I stopped photographing the petroglyphs after 6 months, but i still see lots of them.
The symbols with human stick figures that have circles or large hands at the waist are the ones i appreciate the most, because of Peratt's work with instabilities.

Re: Useful pictorial/science resources...
This is truly an amazing list! Thanks EVERYONE for contributing!
Now, expanding on the question, (or perhaps narrowing my search), I am in search of images of rock art in the context of the Thunderbolts Project. For instance, the "Squatterman" and "Ladders", "Owls", "Sun wheels", "Venus", etc.
There are some available on various web pages, all are roughly the same images, however. I'm looking for a much broader selection of images...
Any ideas?
