Thanks for that. They're mostly reposts from various sites like Hubble and Chandra. I usually use the direct source pages rather than blogs.

Steve Smith, I believe you are mistaken.
Most if not all are photos are copyright by J-P Metsavainio, an amateur astronomer/astrophotographer in Finland IIRC. Some of the photos are taken from many hours of exposure of the open sky over days using a DSLR camera (no telescope).
Please take a closer look. His work is very impressive, and needs a second look, especially considering the context of POD for electric universe enthusiasts.
