Grooves on Europa

Hundreds of TPODs have been published since the summer of 2004. In particular, we invite discussion of present and recent TPODs, perhaps with additional links to earlier TPOD pages. Suggestions for future pages will be welcome. Effective TPOD drafts will be MORE than welcome and could be your opportunity to become a more active part of the Thunderbolts team.

Grooves on Europa

Unread post by Paul » Thu Mar 12, 2015 7:49 am

TPOD for today (3/12/15) has a link to a NASA image:

The blowups on the right kind of remind me of a grove in a vinyl record... Anybody ever taken the data from this and done an acoustical analysis to see what the frequencies might be in the "recorded" information? Seeing as how a Birkeland current has a two way flow this may even be a stereo recording which could render some directional information as well.

Anyhow, just my imagination running wild...

In any case the information would run 'across'.
