(this post is dedicated to Douglas Adams ... Babelfish ?)

Already mentioned this in another thread but I thought it deserved one of it's own. - Multilingual provides real-time searching and translation of globally-dispersed multilingual scientific literature. is a project of the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI), All-Russian Institute of Scientific and Technical Information (VINITI), Microsoft Research, The British Library (Richard Boulderstone of the British Library is the WorldWideScience Alliance Chairman), Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China (ISTIC).

It was an honor to attend and for my company to have played a key role in the launch of multilingual in Helsinki this past June 11th. Beginning more than three years ago, the R&D effort that ultimately resulted in the launch of our ground-breaking multilingual federated search capability involved plenty of hard work by lots of folks at Deep Web Technologies. It certainly could not have been accomplished without our invaluable partnerships with the Department of Energy Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI), the WorldWideScience Alliance, and Microsoft Research.

Multilingual WorldWideScience was launched at a special ceremony culminating the International Council for Scientific and Technical Information’s (ICSTI) Annual Conference titled From Information to Innovation, which was attended by several hundred people.

In our rapidly changing Science world this is a vital service for those getting a broad spectrum picture of world Science that has up till now been compartmentalised for the majority of us.

There must be much research out there relevant to EU theory. Can you imagine getting the Chinese viewpoint on EU/Plasma Science as published in internal Chinese journals ? Well here it is.

Exploration and discovery without honest investigation of "extraordinary" results leads to a Double Bind (Bateson, ) that creates loss of hope and depression. No more Double Binds !
