VY Canis Majoris - the largest known star

VY Canis Majoris (VY CMa) is a red hypergiant evolved star located in the constellation Canis Major ('Greater Dog'). With a size of 2600 solar radii, it is the largest known star and also one of the most luminous ones. It is located about 4900 light years away from Earth, has a luminosity in excess of 105 solar luminosities, a mass in the range 30-40 solar masses, and a mass-loss rate of 2x10-4 solar masses per year. The shell of gas it has ejected displays a complex structure, the so-created circumstellar envelope is among the most remarkable chemical laboratories known in the universe, creating a rich set of organic and inorganic molecules and dust species. Through stellar winds, these inorganic and organic compounds are injected into the interstellar medium, from which new stars orbited by new planets may form. Most of the carbon supporting life on planet Earth was forged by this kind of evolved star. VY CMa truly is a spectacular object, it is close to the end of its life and could explode as a supernova at any time.

Im reading the clues of plasma in the description of the star.

Biggins, question to you. How can you conclude that you are looking at "inorganic and organic compounds - shell of gas".Is that an interpretation of data of the Herschel sensors? How do you catagorise all these em frequencies into matter?

was = is - It's an ongoing process. It makes you think about the relationship - sun - earth.

Each molecule gives spikes in the EM spectrum, which can be correlated to to originating molecule. In the image you can see the lines due to water, etc.

I have not looked into whether they see H2O as H20, or merely infer it from an OH bond (since there are 2 OH bonds in H20 if we see an OH bond there must be H2O)

See, this is pure bull.

How can a star form from the remnants or expulsions of another star, when that star just used up the hydrogen, and perhaps helium?

Good observation.

You know, in my gut, I have for years felt many things were wrong
I could memorize and recite the "theory" no problem.
But in my gut it felt wrong and made no sense really.

Now that I have an electrical explanation, my gut feels right.
The gut check is very important.
It is also why those of us who still toe the party line, strain against the grain so much, because in their gut, they know they are fighting for a series of brainwashes, and being brainwashed, are veiment about their control of knowledge. They recite the party line and tell us of the thousands of "educated scientist" who "must" be right.

Well you know what?
My gut and synesthesia is 100% more effective at telling me what is true.

Control of knowledge....man what a set up.
Thats all part of the brainwashing system....your gut is not worth a hill of beans, but their fairy tales are incorruptable and backed by thousands of "scientist" the leading minds in the world...what a crock.

That is part of the problem, they make you think your not worthy.
Meanwhile, they are the gods of knowledge.
The world is a messed up place, anyone can see that.
We pretend in our own backyards, where the birds sing and the flowers grow, that the starving and death and military overlords can not touch us here....

Meanwhile the child lies starving, the military machine moves forward, and we pretend, we are normal.
Black holes of dark matter and dark energy surround us for sure, but they are right here on earth, not out there somewhere amoungst the electric universe.
