Re: Rolf A. F. Witzsche Cold-Fusion Plasma Star
I've just watched the 18min introduction to that series of videos , and found it very interesting .
The author is a combination of EU astrophysicist ,conspyracy theorist and mystic .... a bit like myself .
I already have questions which perhaps will be answered by the following videos, how does he know were heading for an ice age ? And why does he call the fusion occurring above the surface of the sun 'cold fusion''?

Re: Rolf A. F. Witzsche Cold-Fusion Plasma Star
I just read the introduction paper.
He says we're coming into an ice age because the Sun is returning a normal and lower level of output.
He interprets various data to show 1) that ice age is the norm for the epoch we are in, and 2) that the return from a brief 12,000 year peak in output is happening rapidly right now.
He says the coronal holes are increasing and becoming more persistent, until around 2050, when the Sun will blink off altogether. A 'winter is coming' kind of scenario.
I didn't find out why 'cold-fusion'.

Re: Rolf A. F. Witzsche Cold-Fusion Plasma Star
It seems Rolf is suggesting that (cold) fusion occours on the surface of the sun at 6000*K.....where as orthodox EU theory holds that it occurs only in the plasma loops high above the surface at millions *K ....
According to nutrino measurements it seems that 1/3 of the suns output comes from fusion, presumably the other 2/3 from kinetic energy of particles from the cosmic electric flux hitting the sun.
There maybe something in this cold fusion idea ,since it doesn't seem to me that there are enough solar flares to produce 1/3 of the output.
One thing I can't understand is how is it possible to have the cool inner surface that we see when observing a sun spot, when the surface is at 6000* radiating energy both outwards and inwards ?
