Electric Conception?

Post by D_Archer » Thu Apr 28, 2016 1:18 am

Scientists just captured the flash of light that sparks when a sperm meets an egg:
http://www.sciencealert.com/scientists- ... ets-an-egg
Using a new fluorescent sensor that's able to track the movements of zinc in live cells, the team caught a glimpse of an egg’s zinc-storage capabilities, and found some 8,000 zinc compartments, each one containing around 1 million zinc atoms, just ripe for exploding. The tiny 'fireworks' that result were found to last for about 2 hours after fertilisation

Can anyone relate this to the Electric Universe?

Daniel

Electric Universe and plasma cosmology are about large scale things, like galaxies, stars and planets. Although it does "trickle down" to weather and other more terrestrial things—but that is because charge is the most fundamental aspect of all matter. That, and the fact that electrical effects scale over many orders of magnitude is key.

So, does this "relate" to EU? Not so much, but it sure doesn't have anything to do with strings, 'branes, black holes or dark energy. (How many dimensions does it take to fertilize an egg? We'll need a super LHC to find out!)

Thank you for that, Daniel.

Makes me wonder about the viability of establishing a zinc mine.
Can anyone relate this to the Electric Universe?
Absolutely.

I believe the Electric Universe is electric at the quantum level too.

Electric Conception

This should set your mind spinning--

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2016 ... ns-when-s/

excerpt:
The bright flash occurs because when sperm enters an egg it leads to a surge of calcium which triggers the release of zinc from the egg. As the zinc shoots out, it binds to small molecules which emit a fluorescence which can be picked up by camera microscopes.

Over the last six years this team has shown that zinc controls the decision to grow and change into a completely new genetic organism.

It reminded me of Wal's prediction for deep impact, a smaller impactor produces a flash.

A thread from the "Human Question" board (with the same title and subject as this thread) has been merged here.

it binds to small molecules which emit a fluorescence
The small fluorescing molecules are introduced to indicate the zinc release. So, the light is not part of the normal fertilization process. Very cool video and procedure, but it does not show a connection to EU. IMHO.

But tadpole eye development is a different matter.

The tadpole face flashes with light before it develops.
