@celeste: The absence of a magnetic force doesn't account for diminished effects of the centrifugal force.

As far as I understand, everything in nature grows into a sphere and it cannot extend any further. If the sun does not have any spin bulge at the equator it means only one thing - that it is in the middle of its existence. After a long period of time, slowly it will start to oblate and become a ring as all of the other nebulus in our galaxy does. We can see this clearly with our planet too. You can very clearly notice the changes at our equatorial continents. Also we can see this with the carbon which is a perfect sphere and as we know, everything is governed by one law - for micro and macro.
