Object absorbed by the Sun?

Beyond the boundaries of established science an avalanche of exotic ideas compete for our attention. Experts tell us that these ideas should not be permitted to take up the time of working scientists, and for the most part they are surely correct. But what about the gems in the rubble pile? By what ground-rules might we bring extraordinary new possibilities to light?

Object absorbed by the Sun?

Post by Siggy_G » Thu Nov 26, 2009 6:44 pm

I was just looking through raw video data from NASA's site, for the sake of studying the shape of the corona at the Sun's poles. Now, I'm not too much into Nassim Haramein's hypothesis, but on these two videos something looked odd to me:

Notice in the right area below the Sun. At the mid to end part of the sequence, there seems to be a tiny object accelerating towards the Sun. The order of the images (time) is a little mixed up, and the sequence is time capped at around 23. This object could have been a satelite orbiting Earth, but you'd expect to see the same object continue its orbit at the left top part of the Sun, on the next daily sequence. (The other brighter object, moving slowly at the middle, I assume is a planet)

Day after. The corona goes "poof" at the lower left part of the Sun, and the "satelite" is not continuing its predicted orbit.

It could be a coinsidence and the sequence is fairly noisy, but still... :?

Edit: And while I was writing this... I checked another variation of the first sequence, close-up of the Sun. Now, pause your media player, and forward to the last frame at around 23 o'clock... A bright fragmented streak in the lower left corner (by far exceeding any other image noise):
