Fourth Kind

Beyond the boundaries of established science an avalanche of exotic ideas compete for our attention. Experts tell us that these ideas should not be permitted to take up the time of working scientists, and for the most part they are surely correct. But what about the gems in the rubble pile? By what ground-rules might we bring extraordinary new possibilities to light?

Fourth Kind

* Here's a movie trailer for The Fourth Kind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_h0CblQ0sg coming out next month. About half way through is brief mention of speaking Sumerian and an image of a Sumerian clay tablet, so I can guess what this movie will be about. Eye roll please: Sitchin's Annunaki tale. Talbott was interviewed on Art Bell's show in the late 90s and I think it was Art, a seeming believer in Sitchin's tale, who asked Dave about Sitchin's ideas from the Sumerian tablets. Talbott said Sitchin misinterpreted what the Sumerians were referring to as gods. I read all or most of Sitchin's books and, while there was quite a bit of interesting info, a study of the common motifs of worldwide myths surely supports Talbott's & company's conclusions that the gods referred to planets and plasma formations during and soon after the Saturn Age.
* Richard Hoagland and his colleague, Tom van Flandern, also considered Sitchin's tale erroneous and Hoagland implied that Sitchin might have ulterior motives for his books, because Hoagland said he was an Israeli intelligence agent [and Len Horowitz said the same about Michael Drosnin, author of Bible Codes, which claimed that the Bible says the Arabs were responsible for the 9-11 attacks]. Van Flandern mentioned several criticisms of Sitchin's scheme on his website, http://metaresearch.org . He said a 3,600 year orbit around the sun would be unstable and would only be able to happen once. And he said the Sumerian image of something like a star and planets did not show the solar system as it looks now.
* David Icke took Sitchin's tale to new lows by adding to it the idea that the Annunaki are Reptillians who hypnotize normal humans not to be able to see them as they are. Instead, he says we see them as human, unless we deprogram ourselves. Do you know how many young people believe such claims? A net search for Annunaki should give you a clue.

"The Fourth Kind"

synopsis:
1n 1972, a scale of measurement was established for alien encounters. When a UFO is sighted, it is called an encounter of the first kind. When evidence is collected, it is known as an encounter of the second kind. When contact is made with extraterrestrials, it is the third kind. The next level, abduction, is the fourth kind. Modern-day, Alaska, where-mysteriously since the 1960s-a disproportionate number of the population has been reported missing every year. Despite multiple FBI investigations of the region, the truth has never been discovered. Here in this remote region, psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler began videotaping sessions with traumatized patients and unwittingly discovered some of the most disturbing evidence of alien abduction ever documented. The Fourth Kind exposes the terrified revelations of multiple witnesses. Their accounts of being visited by alien figures all share disturbingly identical details, the validity of which is investigated throughout the film. Written by Anonymous

* I've read more convincing evidence that the abductors were part of a government covert operation, as the abductions occur near military bases, where abductees are given their horrible experiences. This is what some abductees have stated too. I bet the movie won't give the slightest hint that covert ops could be involved. Also, Mae Brussel, who investigated the JFK assassination, stopped investigating after she learned that aspects of the military was involved in satanism. Anton Chaitkin's book, Treason in America, has a chapter on satanism as well.
