Their drum variation of the Faraday Disk is interesting.
They use Neodymium ring magnets, with N outside & S inside (not sure). Plastic cylinders fit inside & the magnets dont touch the axle rod. With this design the electrons are forced along axially (instead of radially in a Faraday Disk). In their 5 magnet design each ring magnet contributes 17 mV at 2000 rpm or 25 mV at 3000 rpm (5 magnets giving 125 mV).

At the end of Exx 005 they propose a drum using 40 ring magnets, but touching (ie no gaps), & ask us to estimate the resultant emf (which will be i reckon at least 47 mV & no more than 94 mV)(my guess is 60 mV)(at 2000 rpm).

The 40 magnets would each contribute say 48 mV giving a total of 1920 mV if they had gaps as wide as each magnet, instead of touching. They would then need a bridging wire at each gap.
And the 40 magnets would each contribute say 17 mV giving a total of 680 mV if they had gaps of say 10mm (using plastic washers)(with bridging wires).
