And the Standard Model jokes just keep coming

Beyond the boundaries of established science an avalanche of exotic ideas compete for our attention. Experts tell us that these ideas should not be permitted to take up the time of working scientists, and for the most part they are surely correct. But what about the gems in the rubble pile? By what ground-rules might we bring extraordinary new possibilities to light?

When a friend pointed out this article, I had to insure I was actually on Ars Technica and not the Onion. Then I double-checked my calendar to make sure we weren't having a second April Fools this year.

Thanks for this. hilarious. Just motivated me to complete my nucleosynthesis-theory.

The reason for Li-7 is that it's produced via Be-7

No smoke and mirrors; All observable and clear!

Pls. Note that BE-7 is still observable after though it's half life is just 53 days, and the "BIG BANG" was allready "few years" ago.
