As far as being shocked that IEEE guys do not get it, well yes I am.
It is supported by the IEEE....so I see no logic in their position.
That they would choose people outside their profession, to speak for them, in a manner, that is contary to everything they have been taught, well its surprising to me.
You know, the first thing I noticed was the 'Help with Homework' section of the forum. Not a good sign for speaking of things outside of officialdom. Thats the first sign that you have a very good chance of running into an educational protectorate that requires official sanction. They're not going to knowingly let varied sources influence fertile minds like that on officially sponsored academic venues.
But, one can take heart that many of those same individuals are the one's participating in such things as the Bedini Motor, Electric Universe, Eric Dollard etc videos on Youtube, Google, Coast-to-Coast broadcast and a variety of other sources. From where I sit in this regard the evolutionary process has not waned. You won't necessarily see that in an official forum, but many of them are aware of these things. Many of them know that in order to get; there - they first have to get the goods i.e. the education in order to make and be a part of those revolutions in thought that we usually see via history.
That, imho, is how it's going to methodically evolve. Remember when Dollard was asked how he came to the knowledge that he has acquired. 'Learn your equations, the basics... and about fourteen years.' - is what he said. That, to me, is where your efforts would have been interjected. In that crucial time when the basics are being learned for the potential Teslas that may be in that, or any other official academic forum. It wasn't that your point(s) weren't valid; just a misstep really.
Now, when it comes to encrusted established professionals, the old guard, who've been at this for decades pft!! - open season. LMAO!!! They have no excesses because they have, and have had, access to all of the apparatus and discarded; neglected literature. One can verify Dollard's Tesla work and experimental set up in one day. There is no excuse for that kind of mind-numbed behavior from the supposed objectivity of "science". AT ALL!
