Teaching Children
I was curious how would you teach science to children based on electric universe theory. How would the basics be taught? How would it differ from the mainstream? What methodologies would you use? Where would you start? If you could create an ideal curriculum what would it look like?

Re: Teaching Children
In a nutshell, the same way the current model of the universe is taught - only puting electricity in the driver's seat, instead of gravity (which automatically negates big bangs, black holes, dark energy, etc.). A well-rounded view would also have to include plasma physics and even mythology to give it a historical experiential perspective. But that's just my opinion.
It's all about perception.

Can't go wrong with using the guide as the curriculum. Some tweaking of certain sections might be necessary though. The section on vector algebra might go over the heads of some kids depending at what stage they're at. I'm 24 and it goes over my head sometimes.

Re: Teaching Children
Children love adventure stories.
Create a myth as distilled knowledge and it will propagate through generations.
Simple stories to tell around the fire. Connect them with the stars when possible.
Create many and different legends for different aspects of the knowledge.
And hope that when it is needed, someday it will be pieced together again.
Thats what our myths actually are.
EU knowledge passed down from our more illumined ancestors.

We live in a double star system.
We need to study double star systems.

We can only hope that in the not-so-distant future we won't have to teach it because it will be part of the school system's curriculum.

Re: Teaching Children
It will be easier for children to understand because it will make sense.
No need to warp time and space (and kid's brains) and add fairytales of the big bang how everything was created out of nothing, and no need for Star Trek inpired terminology such as dark energy.

I am a Science teacher and I have snook EU theory into lessons, brave heh? Pupils are usually absolutely fascinated by the concepts and overall picture, the total Cosmology. They become eager and engaged with the concepts and implications. This is in complete contrast to the mainstream theory and rubbish that they have to learn to pass their exams. They often find this uninspiring and difficult to understand, strange that!
Having read John Taylor Gatto's books and watched the latest awesome youtube series 'The Ultimate History Lesson' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQiW_l848t8 and also followed the books and interviews of Charlotte Iserbyt such as 'The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America' and 'The Miseducation of America' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezTIYd5UFRY , my opinion of the Government controlled school system is not very high. Government education stifles independent thought and innovation. It is 'Schooling' not Education.
It is my opinion that educating children in these EU principles will need to be done outside of the 'school system' for a good long time. The main focus in educating children on EUM will have to be done through independent self or parent driven education. Internet based EUM learning resources are what need to be developed, aimed at different developmental levels. I remember Wal Thornhill suggesting that we need to win across the Public in order to force change in the 'Establishment', both academic and political. We need to inspire and connect with the internet focused younger generation through web based educational resources. The Web has become incredibly powerful, that is where our educational efforts must be focused IMHO. If we are to inspire the children with the EUM then we also need to develop websites and media at their level as well as capturing and inspiring parents.

I agree with midnitehound. For educational purpose the kids, they must be taught about the subjects beyond the formal school system. Not only that to teach them effectively it would be better for them to use of technology because i think that the technology is god enough to show them some good demos and appropriate acknowledgement through the internet.
