Hi Steve-
Just read your latest TPOD- great subject and facinating suggestions there.
I did have a couple of questions, though. Just some things I'm curious about.
-The scalloped trenches cut across the parallel trenches that form the "hand". Were the two structures formed by the same forces at the same time?
-The individual scallop that includes the island of Okinowa, Japan is a mirror of the coastline of Shanghai, and the two of these are separated by a third mirror-image in the form of the continental shelf. Bearing in mind the smooth decent from higher elevations along the coastline to the deeper depths of the under-water scallops, how does lightning-trenching account for this phenomenon?
What physical force, associated with planetary lightning, was employed to lift the islands and continental landmasses of that same area? In other words, mechanically speaking- how did this work? I've not seen lightning lifting up the ground like that before, and was hoping for a little more technical information to help explain the theory behind it.
Thanks.
