Suggestion for TPOD

Hundreds of TPODs have been published since the summer of 2004. In particular, we invite discussion of present and recent TPODs, perhaps with additional links to earlier TPOD pages. Suggestions for future pages will be welcome. Effective TPOD drafts will be MORE than welcome and could be your opportunity to become a more active part of the Thunderbolts team.

Suggestion for TPOD

Post by scott » Mon Jun 16, 2008 11:45 pm

I invite you to check out the Tweed Valley, far North NSW.

its apparently the remains of a massive volcano, an ancient volcanic caldera, but i'm wondering how the inside walls could have collapsed in such a regular fashion all around? that and the elevations at the bottom of the valley floor don't seem to correspond to generally observed drainage dynamics.. shrug..

The 'plug', that is wollumbin or mt warning could perhaps be the upraised portion found after a massive electrical discharge event, like in those photos from the planets?

I am only a geog grad (BA), but I reckon this merits a look.
