I've been thinking more about this topic as it's very intriguing.
It occurs to me that Europa is one of the smoothest quasi-planet-like bodies in our solar system. Unless this has already been said in the thread, Europa shows no signs whatsoever on its face of Earthly plate tectonics. Subduction zones are often, but not always, typified by mountain ranges. A tectonic world is geographically diverse--Europa is not. Europa looks homogeneous. That alone falsifies "ice plate tectonic" theory instantly.
Why establishment science then thinks the opposite is puzzling to me. How could they in their rationale go all the way and definitely assign Earthly geology--of rocks and not ice--to an alien world that is totally smooth and evidently covered in ice of some kind? It is as if they are assigning a "meaning" and "solution" to an area that need not have one so confidently, so soon, and so wrong.

Europa's missing plumes and oxygen?
Interesting little article showing how science and theory works.

Were the plumes triggered by the Cassini spacecraft as it passed?
Will the plumes come back?
Europa theories modified again.
