Is resigning in protest a useful tactic??

Beyond the boundaries of established science an avalanche of exotic ideas compete for our attention. Experts tell us that these ideas should not be permitted to take up the time of working scientists, and for the most part they are surely correct. But what about the gems in the rubble pile? By what ground-rules might we bring extraordinary new possibilities to light?

I Agree. Especially in the field of Astrophysics. We have been led down a Black Hole of Erroneous Science Fictional Theories for far too long. We MUST make a difference for the future of knowledge. Math is Not the answer.

I don't see how the question, as stated, relates to the EU or the Thunderbolts Project. :|
It's all about perception.

* It relates to New Insights and Mad Ideas.

* If a person can be more effective by resigning in protest, then the person should do so.
* If the person would be more effective by not resigning, then the person should not resign.
