Mel, that is certainly a tour-de-force of logic and philosophy. It explains precisely why we gather on this Forum to discuss issues bearing, in general, on the scientific concepts relevant to the electric model of the universe. Thank you for summing up why and how scientist's minds ought to be working. I hadn't given much thought to the subtle differentiation between metalanguage and language until your article today. I have given a lot of thought to what I learned as scientific investigation and scientific progress, and fair open-mindedness, and the sequencing of the Scientific Method (which is messier than it sounds) and so on. I had not given much thought to my thinking, however - that is an interesting perspective, and I imagine I'll try to be more aware of which type of language I'm working in, in the future.
