Re: Are Mountains the Result of a Duning Process?
Hello Seasmith: Very cool maps. I don't understand everything, but i'm learning. I saw a map on the list that listed the metals present that no longer seems to be on the list. Am i imagining this?

Sorry Seasmith, i found the missing Map. There is copper in the area under discussion. Along with gold, silver, zinc, mercury, and lead.
A prospector friend thinks a thunderbolt, or other plasma event, would attract or repel matter depending on the ionic nature of the matter. Metals might be attracted in some cases. If the atmosphere was choked with dust there would be lots of material available.

Re: Are Mountains the Result of a Duning Process?
The map below shows what i think are tailings from the Queen mine in Bisbee AZ. I haven't been there, so im not sure.
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=31 ... 15&vpsrc=6
Bisbee's mines produced:
8 billion pounds of copper
2.8 million ounces of gold
77 million pounds of silver
30 million pounds of lead
371 million pounds of zinc
The color is similar to the area around Lake Mohave. The dark green color in the map below is being drained to the West in the drainage.
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=35 ... 12&vpsrc=6
I don't think the dark green area is tailings in the map above. It's a large area. Just rich in something that shows up green on these maps. Quite possibly copper as Seasmith proposed.

Re: Are Mountains the Result of a Duning Process?
Sometimes metals cause colors other than blue/green. Kondyor Massif is displayed in pink below.
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=57 ... 12&vpsrc=6
Please note the points of the outside of the rim. It's not hard to count 56. The number that would be expected from a plasma event. The other numbers that wouldn't be surprising are 28, 14
http://www.holoscience.com/news.php?article=re6qxnz1
[...]
The crucial evidence for the electrical nature of supernovae must come from experiment and observation.
Anthony L. Peratt, Fellow, IEEE, published a seminal paper in the IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, Vol. 31, No. 6, December 2003. It was titled "Characteristics for the Occurrence of a High-Current, Z-Pinch Aurora as Recorded in Antiquity." In it he explained the unusual characteristics of a high-energy plasma discharge. He discussed mega-ampere particle beams and showed their characteristic 56- and 28-fold symmetry. He wrote: "A solid beam of charged particles tends to form hollow cylinders that may then filament into individual currents. When observed from below, the pattern consists of circles, circular rings of bright spots, and intense electrical discharge streamers connecting the inner structure to the outer structure."
>> This photograph shows a 0.6-mm-thick titanium witness plate that has been placed 15 cm in front of a 100 kilo-Gauss, sub-megaampere charged particle beam. Initially, the particle beam was cylindrical but after traveling the 15 cm has filamented. In the sub-gigaampere range, the maximum number of self-pinched filaments allowed before the cylindrical magnetic field will no longer split into "islands" for the parameters above has been found to be 56.
Me again,
The photo mentioned above didn't work with cut and paste.
Kondyor is a form of basalt containing platinum and gold. The platinum might be a factor in the color. The 56 points would be hard to explain with a volcanic answer.
There is a TPOD,
http://www.thunderbolts.info/tpod/2009/ ... ondyor.htm
This seems to open the door for electric basalt, and electric events on the surface of Earth.

Michael,
What's the source for the titanium witness plate photo mentioned (but not pasted in) above? Wasn't in either of Peratt's 2-parter on the conditions for z-pinch.

I meant to add these links,
http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/IOTD/view.php?id=8773 NASA
http://atlasobscura.com/place/kondyor-massif This link claims the structure is 5,000 miles long. That would be through the center of Earth if going straight down. This could be a problem.

Mining company teams, searching for mineral bodies, use electromagnetic, magnetic and gravimetric methods. They could also get on the Google Earth, with the clues from the EU and see what they're missing.

I believe the image below shows tailings from the gold mine East of Nelson NV.

Please note the lack of blue/green.

Re: Are Mountains the Result of a Duning Process?
Thanks for the link, Michael. After reading Wal's title, I see it matched what you had, but I got thrown off because the title under Figure 45 in Peratt's Part 1 paper (2003, p. 1208) is different (I was looking for a Ti witness plate, and not so much at the image detail itself. Doh!) Peratt described it as a steel witness plate. A little further searching on the previous page showed a description paragraph referring to Fig. 45, and that does call it a titanium plate, and follows Wal's figure title (actually, vice versa). Okay, I'm all squared away.

Re: Are Mountains the Result of a Duning Process?
If you zoom out from the above map to 2000 ft you see a random rectangle with no blue/green color. Apparently whatever post processing is done to those Google Satellite pictures around it wasn't done to this tile. I'm really curious what the color signifies but with the above omission it is now very clear that this is a post processing step.starbiter wrote:I believe the image below shows tailings from the gold mine East of Nelson NV.

Re: Are Mountains the Result of a Duning Process?
If you zoom out until the scale bar says 2 miles everything is in color, even the tailings which aren't blue green.
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=35 ... 12&vpsrc=6
As you zoom in the color goes away in some areas. Whatever wavelength the process uses doesn't seem the same as human vision. Because the tailings aren't as blue/green as the surrounding area it seems the blue/green color has more to do with the surface.

Re: Are Mountains the Result of a Duning Process?
There are times when my ignorance amazes me. I've been to copper mines. I've taken tours.
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=35 ... 12&vpsrc=6
The color on the map seems normal. If you zoom in one more time the color changes.
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=33 ... 12&vpsrc=6
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=33 ... 12&vpsrc=6
In the map above the mine is to the North, the tailings area and processing area is to the South. The mine is bluish.
The map below has photographs of the area. It's also easy to see tailings. The areas with tailings are the areas without the blue/green color.
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=35 ... oramio.all
This all leads me to believe that the blue/green color is a surface feature.
