Lightning, Sticky Tape, and Black Hole Observations -

Hundreds of TPODs have been published since the summer of 2004. In particular, we invite discussion of present and recent TPODs, perhaps with additional links to earlier TPOD pages. Suggestions for future pages will be welcome. Effective TPOD drafts will be MORE than welcome and could be your opportunity to become a more active part of the Thunderbolts team.

Lightning, Sticky Tape, and Black Hole Observations -

Post by StevenJay » Thu Aug 06, 2009 1:25 pm

I think Thomas' recognition of the philosophical perceptions of the "light" versus "dark" metaphor is very profound, and can be applied across the board to virtually every aspect of the human experience - including the near death experience!

But that's as far as I'm gonna go with that line of thought - at least, here (I think the hall monitor is lurking nearby). :? ;)
It's all about perception.

Very nice perspective in this post - it catches not only the technical differences, but the soul of the differences. Whose gonna nitpick about a plasma's dark mode when we have all the rest of it? Good work! How about collapsing bubble luminescence during water cavitation? Is that a similar plasma phenomenon, similar in scale to sticky tape but a different mechanism altogether?
