Sure thing Steve, i'll dig one out!
My interest lays in the Aboriginal people of this area, they have had upto 40-60 000 yrs continuous culture. if anybody has seen Earth interacting electrically, they have!
give me a bit and I'll send you some relevant pics

They are without doubt the most fascinating rock art any where in the world!

Hello all,
my first post, although I have been reading EU theory on and off for a few years.
Those pictures of the giant fulgurites are stunning. Is there any geological explainations for them? I would be interested in what they have to say......
While trawling info on fulgurites I came across this article.....
http://geology.about.com/od/climate_cha ... urites.htm

Navarro-González and his research team captured and analyzed the gas from fulgurite bubbles and measured luminescence using heat treatment (thermoluminescence). They published their results in the February 2007 Geology. Fulgurites, it turns out, have things to tell us about lightning, ancient climate and paleoecology.
If this is right, this is very exiting news. To have an aproximate date of these events would move this massive subject forward.

Re: Gooches Crater, Australia
Speaking specifically of Australia, these pics were posted recently on another forum I visit by a member that lives in Australia. It's of the recent storm they had in Brisbane on November 16, 2008:

I'm a novice, but I think these are the most amazing pictures of lightening I've ever seen.
