If the redspot on Jupiter, or hurricanes on Earth, or sunspots on the Sun, are the point at which current flows in to a planet/Sun, these currents can't be from the direction of the current sheet. These currents must SPIRAL into the planet or Sun, from the direction of that objects spin axis.
But that is what Don Scott and others have been saying all along. The main current flows into the poles of planets or the sun. The mainstream idea that the main flow is in the current sheet, would in fact lead to a redspot that stayed on the sunward side of Jupiter. We all agree that that is not what happens. Don Scott's model for Titius-Bode, etc, depends on the main current flow being THROUGH the ecliptic plane, not radially from or towards the Sun.
