Another dark and pathetic week for physics.

If ever there was a textbook example of a "special pleading" fallacy, gravitational waves are the ultimate example of it. Not only *didn't* LIGO correlate their noise patterns to anything celestial in origin, they were rewarded by the Nobel Prize committee for lying about there being "no vetoes present within an hour of the signal", when it fact there was a veto of that exact so called 'signal" within 18 seconds. LIGO intentionally hid that veto from everyone. They hid the *cause* of that veto from everyone, and they hid every details about it from the public. They refused to even discuss it in any depth. LIGO also simply ignored and avoided the Danish team's discovery of correlated noise between detectors.

What a dark and useless week for astronomy. We can now add two more invisible entities to the list of mainstream invisible dogma, specifically invisible merging naked black hole pairs, and mythical invisible waves of energy that come from completely invisible events. As if four metaphysical forms of matter and energy weren't enough, they rubber stamped two more invisible entities this week to bring it to an even half dozen invisible claims. :(

Gah. We're definitely living in the dark ages of astronomy. Future scientists will look back at this timeline and wonder how the hell the mainstream could be so clueless. They'll be mystified as to how they managed to believe that they "discovered" something based on a bad case of special pleading, and flat out deception by omission.

I didn't have any illusions about LIGO winning the Nobel prize this year, but it demonstrates just how far down the invisible rabbit hole they're willing to go. There's literally *zero* empirical evidence to support any of their claims, and LIGO simply misrepresented the facts surrounding the first signal.

What a pathetic week for astronomy.

It's not only astronomy, it's climate *science* too. What we are witnessing is the death of reason, and that's showing up not only in science but in many other areas of society as well. EVERYTHING has become politicized (and I use that term loosely). The search for TRUTH in many areas, not the least of which is journalism, has been supplanted by other agendas.

It took a while for astronomy to catch on to the fad, but now stars are "Plancking." Thankfully gravity wave astronomy exists so that we can infer these "exotic" stars!
