Leukemia-Killing Plasma Beam Could Offer Cancer Treatment

What is a human being? What is life? Can science give us reliable answers to such questions? The electricity of life. The meaning of human consciousness. Are we alone? Are the traditional contests between science and religion still relevant? Does the word "spirit" still hold meaning today?

Leukemia-Killing Plasma Beam Could Offer Cancer Treatment

Patients battling the blood cancer leukemia could one day receive a new type of treatment that uses a plasma -- a gas of electrically charged particles -- to kill cancer cells while keeping the healthy cells intact, according to new research.

---
When leukemia cells were treated with the cold-plasma plume, the scientists found something unexpected: the cells did not die right away.
---

Laroussi's view is shared by Michael Keidar, associate professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at George Washington University, who was not involved in the study but whose laboratory also researches plasma for cancer therapy.

One of the molecules in cold plasma is an especially reactive oxygen molecule made of three oxygen atoms, known as ozone, rather than the two atoms of oxygen molecules in the air. Scientists have known since the early twentieth century that ozone acts as a disinfectant and recent research has demonstrated that ozone kills bacterial infections, an important innovation in treating wounds and drug-resistant bacterial infections.

Keidar's laboratory has identified that this ozone is a key player in targeting cancer cells. The molecule is a natural byproduct of a cell's metabolic cycle, Keidar said. Cancer cells have higher metabolisms than healthy cells, which leads to naturally elevated levels of ozone. Adding the right amount of extra ozone to the cancer cells can push their already elevated levels over the threshold and trigger cell-suicide, or apoptosis. Healthy cells, with their slower metabolisms, have ozone levels beneath this threshold and remain unscathed.

In addition to further work in leukemia treatment, Laroussi said that there are many future applications for low-temperature plasma. Laroussi's laboratory has studied cold plasma treatments for leukemia, bacterial infections, and even as a potential treatment for the plaques that cause Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases.
Today's scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality. -Nikola Tesla -1934

This is why I asked the question in my thread on Pollack about ozone. I use ozone in my koi pond to kill organics and pathogens. H2O3 is basically ozone water as far as I can tell.

Correction, EZ water is supposed to be H3O2. Ozone is O3.

Electric plasma devices have been demonstrated by experiments from multiple sources to have enormous potential against bacterial & viral pathogens.

Devices like the Plasma wands have killed every nasty microbe they've thrown at them, including TB, HIV, Ebola, SARS, BirdFlu and ALL the superbugs like VRE & MRSA. Even more impressive are the secondary effects - increased cellular repair/replacement in the host organism as well as a reduction of swelling & scarring.
So using plasma devices not only killed the bad bugs, but it helped the victim heal better and faster.

The increased exposure to Oxygen is only one of possibilities concerning the how an energetic plasma accomplishes the effect.
There is also the theory with some supporting evidence that the electrical charge of the local cellular environment plays a significant role.

Though it's always linked to chemistry first, pH is also a direct association with charge state. Bacteria seek areas where they can reproduce easily & the action of their by-products reinforces their pH reproductive requirements. Similarly, the first thing a virus does when it invades a cell is hijack the ion transport functions. This causes a pH shift which results in a change in the polarity of the base operating charge state from (-) to (+)

Royal Raymond Rife identified the strange mutational behaviour of virus long before it was accepted by the mainstream medical community. He said that a virus most basic form is VERY different and much smaller than what is found in diseased tissues. One he named BX was notably smaller than others he'd already identified. Rife verified via direct observation with his Universal Microscope that BX took on multiple final forms. Most importantly each variation was dependant on the surrounding cellular environment - infection of different tissue resulted in the various forms of cancers. His answer was to "devitalize" the invader's form using an energetic resonance to shatter it. Without the invader to maintain the override conditions, the cells would then revert or be replaced by their own original form.
