Dr. Dmitriev and "Tornado Physics"

Has science taken a wrong turn? If so, what corrections are needed? Chronicles of scientific misbehavior. The role of heretic-pioneers and forbidden questions in the sciences. Is peer review working? The perverse "consensus of leading scientists." Good public relations versus good science.

Torsion fields create orgone energy?

ORMUS and Cosmic Orgasm
http://www.subtleenergies.com/ormus/tw/orgasm.htm

Wilhelm Reich called it “orgone” energy and even developed some methods for manipulating it. It is probably related to the spin field that Russian scientists have been exploring in the last few years. Here is an excerpt from an article from a couple of these scientists “Yu.V.Nachalov and A.N.Sokolov” which links a variety of related discoveries to spin fields:

“In this article the experimental results obtained by various researchers in the period 1950-1990 are discussed. Since all experimental results under consideration could not be explained in the framework of existing theories, these results were placed under the category of "experimentally-observed phenomena." It is shown that all of the experiments considered here have demonstrated a manifestation of spin-torsion interactions.

Over the course of the XX century, various investigations in different countries, representing a variety of professional interests, repeatedly reported the discovery of unusual phenomena that could not be explained in the framework of existing theories. Since these authors could not understand the physics of the observed phenomena, they were forced to give their own names to the fields, emanations and energies responsible for the creation of these phenomena.

For instance, N.A.Kozyrev's "time emanation" [1-4], W.Reich's "O-emanation" or "orgone" [5], M.R.Blondlot's "N-emanation" [6], I.M.Shakhparonov's "Mon-emanation", A.G.Gurvich's "mitogenetic emanation" [7], A.L.Chizhevsky's "Z-emanation", A.I.Veinik's "chronal field" [8,9], "M-field" [10], A.A.Deev's "D-field", Yu.V.Tszyan Kanchzhen's "biofield", H.Moriyama's "X-agent" [11], V.V.Lensky's "multipolar energy" [12], "radiesthesietic emanation" [13], "shape power", "empty waves" [19], "pseudomagnetism" [20.” ], H.A.Nieper's "gravity field energy" [21], T.T.Brown's "electrogravitation" [22], "fifth force" [23], "antigravitation" [24], "free energy". This list can be easily continued.

VACUUM SPIN FIELDS
http://amasci.com/freenrg/tors/

Spin waves in condensed matter are a current and well-studied topic in modern physics. However, there is a less-known backwater in this field: Torsion Fields, the quantum spin of empty space; the large-scale coherent effects of the spin of the particles in the virtual sea.

Initial work in this field was performed by Einstein and Cartan in the 1920's, now known as ECT (Einstein-Cartan-theory.) Currently there are rumors that spin waves have real physical consequences, and that useful technology can be based on such things. If "torsion fields" can be used for communication, they could explain such things as telepathy and PK. Most of the recent work has been done in Russia, but now and then interesting things appear in the US as well.

Torsion fields bend space and time.

I am wondering if torsion fields create “non-symmetric vacuum states” which, in turn, “break the symmetry” (atomic structure) of matter. Vacuum domains, as far as I can see, are referred to as non-homogeneous partial vacuum states created within spiraling vortices.

Torsion fields cause magnetic field separation and vortex compression.

Spontaneous symmetry breaking occurs in physics when a system that is symmetric goes into a vacuum state that is not symmetric. At this point the system no longer appears to behave in a symmetric manner. It is a phenomenon that
occurs in many situations. It can be discrete, such as the space group of a crystal or continuous such as the rotational symmetry of space.

The experiments involved a mysterious bell-shaped device comprising of two contra-rotating cylinders filled with a liquid [thought to be mercury], that emitted a strange pale blue light. It is thought that the experiments related to an investigation [radical even today] into torsion fields, and the arcane properties of space-time. “… if you generate a torsion field of sufficient magnitude the theory says you can bend the four dimensions of space around the generator. The more torsion you generate, the more space you perturb… when you bend space, you also bend time…”

Viktor Schauberger believed that the vortex – visible all around us from whirlpools, spiral galaxies, and the double helix of a DNA strand – is the most efficient conduit for the transmission of energy.

In his book on Viktor Schauberger – entitled Living Energies – author Callum Coats writes: “… If one observes the Universe as a whole, a form of motion is evident that Schauberger called ‘cycloid-spiral-space-curve-motion’. He also referred to it as a ‘form creating dynamic’…

… The very word Universe signifies a single curve [uni=one, versum=curve]. This curve is an energy path and the essence of energy is ceaseless movement; in its eternal trajectory from spirit to matter and from matter to spirit it permeates all creation.

Antoine-Laurent de Lavoisier showed that although matter changes its state in a chemical reaction, the quantity of matter remains constant. He pondered the notion that matter and energy cannot be destroyed but shift from one state to another.

Canadian inventor John Hutchison is credited with the discovery of a highly-anomalous electromagnetic effect, said to cause levitation of objects, spontaneous fracturing of metals, and the fusion of materials such as wood and metal.

Is this "pulsating astrophysical entity" an example of a vacuum domain?

Source X
http://www.geocities.com/foxbat2my/theory.html

SOURCE-X THEORY : Proposed by Ahmad Jamaludin from Malaysia to explain the helio-centric geographical migration of major UFO waves around the Earth in a 10-year cycle (plus or minus 1 year). This "Source-X" is believed to be an astrophysical entity orbiting between the planet Mars and Jupiter (because of its 10-year cycle) but on a highly eccentric orbit. This "Source-X" must be emitting gravity waves which is aiding the UFOs to surf on it and hence it functions as a corridor or highway to come to Earth. Its pulsating nature determines the number of UFOs appearing on Earth i.e if it pulsates slowly, only isolated UFOs appear, but when it suffers a glitch and pulsates rapidly, UFOs will appear in large numbers and hence the UFO waves. This pulsating astrophysical entity is also believed to be responsible for triggering earthquakes on Earth due to the gravity waves it emits in exciting the Earth's weak spot, i.e the fault lines. Source-X, or this astrophysical entity, is not a solid object but just a mass of energy. It must have formed from a planet that once existed between Mars and Jupiter but has dissipated for some unknown reasons. If UFOs appear out of "Source-X", then they must be coming out of it from a parallel universe (if there is any).

Since Dr. Kozyrev is supposed to have proposed a new theory of time, I thought I would see what I could find on the internet. Unfortunately, the links are not active, and there is not much substantive information that I could locate.

There are further references to his work below even though the links are inactive:

Polarization
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polarization

Polarization is a property of transverse waves which describes the orientation of the oscillations in the plane perpendicular to the wave's direction of travel. The term polarization thus describes the possible orientations of the oscillatory process in the plane perpendicular to the transverse wave's path.

Polarized Space:
http://www.polarization.com/space/space.html

In 1997, Borge Nodland and John Ralston found in their analysis of astronomical polarization data that the universe had an optical axis: it was circularly birefringent! The universe appeared to behave in a similar way as a crystal with optical activity: it rotated the polarization direction of linearly polarized light! This cosmic "quartz crystal" had an optical axis parallel to the direction Aquila-Earth-Sextans. Is the universe birefringent? Is the universe rotating?
