I came to a fork in the road once; so I took it!from your link wrote:“We now find ourselves at a historic fork in the road we travel to understand the laws of nature. If the multiverse idea is correct, the style of fundamental physics will be radically changed.”
I sense a disturbance in the farce.

Re: Multiverse or blind alley?
So, they're seriously entertaining notions of multiple infinities?? Oh, wait - I forgot about all those black holes milling about everywhere. It is perhaps impossible to say how far apart the different universes may be, or whether they exist simultaneously in time. Some may have stars and galaxies like ours. Some may not. Some may be finite in size. Some may be infinite.
This article doesn't indicate a fork in the road but rather, that the bridge ahead is out.
It's all about perception.

Re: Multiverse or blind alley?
they just make this stuff up as they go along don't they? if our universe is truly infinite then its all we've got/need. i'm happy with that.
i remember a programme on the telly once talking about a theory where every decision splits off into the various yes/no versions every time a choice is made. i think that has more to do with the inventor's uncertainty about their own decisions. if you make a bad decision in this universe it's ok 'cos somewhere there's a version of you that got it right.
this seens to be a similar thing in that your can't be wrong because there's an alternative universe where you're bang-on. maybe in one of these other universes i picked the right numbers for the lotto but it makes knack-all difference to this 'me.'

Not really, both are fantasy based math. Fix the basic math and use logic, and the "style" will be more correct. If the multiverse idea is correct, the style of fundamental physics will be radically changed.”
Miles Mathis finds basic algebra mistakes underlying modern maths.

Multiverse > the aggregate of all existing matter, of which the universe is but a tiny fragment.
Eeh, but the concept universe is > the aggregate of all existing matter, energy, and space
