Has science taken a wrong turn? If so, what corrections are needed? Chronicles of scientific misbehavior. The role of heretic-pioneers and forbidden questions in the sciences. Is peer review working? The perverse "consensus of leading scientists." Good public relations versus good science.

Slaying the Sky Dragon: Death of the Greenhouse Gas Theory
http://itsrainmakingtime.com/2010/timball2/
Climatologist Tim Ball has just completed a new book called Slaying The Sky Dragon: Death of The Greenhouse Gas Theory. Tim, also a writer for Canada Free Press, has spent a great deal of time educating us about climate and the rise to power of the current climate change paradigm.
In this interview, we explore the greenhouse gas theory. Tune in as Dr. Ball sorts the matter out very thoroughly for those who wish to understand the critical fundamental flaw in the official climate change paradigm.
An excellent interview, an also paints (to me) some very worrying observations on the real dangers of specialization and absence of holistic study in modern science. Also very interesting discussions observations on methods for forming and reforming opinions that seem to be avoided by funding oriented research initiatives.

Polls show that between one-third and one-half of Americans still believe that there is "no solid" evidence of global warming, or that if warming is happening it can be attributed to natural variability. Others believe that scientists are still debating the point. Join scientist and renowned historian Naomi Oreskes as she describes her investigation into the reasons for such widespread mistrust and misunderstanding of scientific consensus and probes the history of organized campaigns designed to create public doubt and confusion about science. Today's scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality. -Nikola Tesla -1934
