Electric Clouds

Hundreds of TPODs have been published since the summer of 2004. In particular, we invite discussion of present and recent TPODs, perhaps with additional links to earlier TPOD pages. Suggestions for future pages will be welcome. Effective TPOD drafts will be MORE than welcome and could be your opportunity to become a more active part of the Thunderbolts team.

Cloud formations often exhibit structure that could be the result of something other than blowing winds. Does ionized plasma actually shape the clouds?

Long ago, when I took a Meteorology class, a film was presented of an event that occurred in Yellowstone. There was blue sky until the bucket of silver iodide was swung around. The sky immediately clouded. The explanation was that the silver iodide provided the necessary particulate matter for the water vapor to condense around. What would be the alternative explanation if no "seeds" are required?

In my opinion clouds are a cold hydro electrostatic plasma. Cloud formation is guided by ions.
