Back then humans have been hunters and prey.
Back then humans have not been double minded (shizoprhenic). Their perception was one holistic reality. This was supportet by relying on successful hunt and the need to survive other hunters. They just could not afford to think a certain noice in the forest/steppes was "pure imagination" or blurp in their mind. There was no room for lies and what lies do to humans psyche. Modern science likes to tell us that their mind was based on mumbo-jumbo. However, they successfully survived tens of thousands years. Something our modern intellect still has to proove.

Any signal in such a mind causes a simple logic -> locate and identificate source of signal. Life was depending on this. Either to hunt down a boar for protein or not get killed by a huge cat. This logic was internalized until it was a reflex.

This reflex and the mastered ability to locate and identify signals in awareness are the source of the mind map. Till today some people tell that the plants and animals around them are ancestors. The wind is telling them when blowing through the trees. Signal-location-identification within a holistic context. Thats why certain areas in the sky have been identified quite similar by different people in different locations and why certain areas are maybe some sort of ancestor.
