Hot Neon

Hundreds of TPODs have been published since the summer of 2004. In particular, we invite discussion of present and recent TPODs, perhaps with additional links to earlier TPOD pages. Suggestions for future pages will be welcome. Effective TPOD drafts will be MORE than welcome and could be your opportunity to become a more active part of the Thunderbolts team.

Hot Neon

The electricians who string wires through the store would be surprised to hear that the wires are only decorative: the neon signs are obviously powered by tiny nuclear furnaces in their hot, dense cores; the electricity in the wires doesn’t “do anything.”
I laughed so hard I snorted my coffee! Thanks a lot, Mel!

This is arguably one of the best TPODS ever posted, IMHO. The difference in the EU and the standard model interpretation of the same evidence couldn't be more elegantly expressed, and with a touch of genteel humor, as well.

I chuckle and say that to myself almost every time I read one of Mel's submitions. Mr. Acheson's linguistic prowess is arguably top-drawer. :)
It's all about perception.

Excellent!
