Ariel's Cicatricial Visage

Hundreds of TPODs have been published since the summer of 2004. In particular, we invite discussion of present and recent TPODs, perhaps with additional links to earlier TPOD pages. Suggestions for future pages will be welcome. Effective TPOD drafts will be MORE than welcome and could be your opportunity to become a more active part of the Thunderbolts team.

Ariel's Cicatricial Visage

You should avoid to interpret everything in term of electricity. Ariel's cicatricial visage is clearly related to extension faulting and grabens.
This results from the internal tension that is pulling the surface crust apart, because this moon grew in size and mass.
Same story for enceladus, earth and so on...
This happens because as you know, moons/planets/stars are not isolated system .

Maybe yes - maybe no, Florian. There are a lot of theories floating around out there right now, including the expanding/growing planet theory ("theory" being the operative word), which I personally feel can co-exist with the EU theory.
